Religion Minister Md Faridul Haque Khan MP said Bangladesh is now a role model for global development. Bangladesh is the 35th largest economy in the world. Freedom is the main driver of our progress. By 2041, a developed and prosperous Smart Bangladesh will be built.
He said these things in the speech of the chief guest at the discussion meeting and special Doa Mahfil organized at the Islamic Foundation head office on the occasion of the celebration of the Great Independence and National Day-2024 at 10 am yesterday.
Religion Minister said, Bangabandhu's cherished dream was to build Sonar Bengal. The government led by Bangabandhu's daughter Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is working towards that goal. Everyone should make the dream of the smart Bangladesh of the Honorable Prime Minister come true.
Md A Hamid Jamaddar, Secretary of the Ministry of Religious Affairs, spoke as a special guest on the occasion. The Director General of the Islamic Foundation Dr. Md Bashirul Alam presided. Coordination Department Director (Additional Charge) Md Habej Ahmed delivered the welcome speech.
Among others, the Joint Secretary of the Ministry of Religious Affairs Md Fazlur Rahman, the director of the project of setting up 560 model mosques and Islamic cultural centers in each district upazila, Md Najibar Rahman, the project director of mosque-based children and mass education activities ASM Shafiul Alam Talukdar along with directors and officials-staff were present. The program was moderated by Assistant Director Md Saiful Islam. Assistant director Mostafizur Rahman conducted the Dua-Munajat at the end of the program.
